To the Beach!!

I love vacation!! I can't wait for this one especially because my family is joining us. I rented a beach house in Bethany Beach, DE. So, my mom, sister, brother and their spouses, and my neice will be meeting us down there! I'm really looking forward to spending time with my fam and soaking up some son.

I also find vacation extremely stressful though. My mind has been working on overtime trying to remember everything that needs to come with us! Now, I know that almost everything that we're bringing can be bought down there, but somehow I just feel defeated if I forget anything.
So, I've been organizing and packing all week. Tomorrow we'll hit the road bright and early and pray that the kids sleep the whole way ;) yeah, right!

Today we celebrated the 4th of July down in Gettysburg. My dad is a reenacter, so he was fighting the civil war today. Ryan loved it! He skipped is nap to go. So, right before the big battle started he fell asleep on Kale's lap. The cannons fired, the guns started shooting, and Ryan woke up clapping!!! Love that kid!
